Our Church was founded in 1989 by Ethiopian Orthodox faithful in Boston who wanted a place to worship in their own tradition. We gather for prayer according to the ancient rite of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, and we serve our community in the spirit of that faith — in teaching, in charity, and in the ordinary care of one another.
